
TERMS AND REGULSTIONS OF KOKORO KYUDO CLUB
These Terms and Regulations determine the rights and obligations of the participants of the kyūdō training, hereinafter referred to as the Participants, organized by Kokoro Foundation headquartered in Kraków, ul. Prof. T Seweryna 8/5, hereinafter referred to as the Club.
The main aim of the Kokoro Foundation is to popularize Japanese culture, with a particular focus on kyūdō, traditional Japanese archery, and its values, norms and principles in accordance with the accepted standards through conducting kyūdō training for participants over 18 years of age.
§ 1 The training Participant is obliged to pay for a single entry or to buy a monthly pass according to the current price list. The money collected that way is spent on rental fees, the purchase, maintenance and service of Club equipment, event organization, and the Foundation’s operating costs (such as accounting services and bank account fees).
§ 2 The monthly pass fee covers one calendar month period.
§ 3 The monthly pass fee should be paid no later than on the 10th day of every month. If the payment is not recorded, the Participant will be charged for a single entry. The fee for a single entry should be paid before the training or upfront for the whole month.
§ 4 If the Participant has a valid monthly pass but is absent during the training, the payment is not refundable, and it can’t be transferred to the next period.
§ 5 The training Participant is obliged to train in clothes designed for kyūdō training or a suitable sports outfit. The Participant is required to practice wearing tabi or socks, or barefoot.
§ 6 The Participant’s private training equipment can be stored in the Club only when clearly tagged with the owner’s name and surname. The training equipment without any tags will be removed from the Club or used as the Club’s equipment.
§ 7 The training room, equipment, and sanitary facilities should be used appropriately for their intended purpose. The Participants are required to keep the sports facility, toilets, and changing rooms clean and tidy according to the regulations valid on the premises of the facility.
§ 8 While in the training room, the Participants must follow all comments and recommendations of the Instructors and comply with the Terms and Regulations of the Club.
§ 9 The Participant would be legally or financially responsible for any devastation of the Club equipment and conscious action to the detriment of the Club.
§ 10 In the case of violation of public order or these Terms and Regulations, the Participant would be expelled from the Club and deprived of their membership. The Foundation Board would verbally inform the Participant about the expulsion decision. In the case of expulsion and ban on the use of the Club services, the fee paid for the monthly pass and any other payments are not refundable.
§ 11 Kokoro Kyūdō Club reserves its right to not grant membership to any person without giving any reason.
§ 12 Smoking tobacco and the consumption of alcoholic beverages or other psychoactive substances is strictly forbidden on the premises of the Club.
§ 13 Due to safety reasons, if the Participant is late for the training by more than 15 minutes, they cannot participate in the training. The Participant who is late for the training is considered absent, and the prepaid training is considered forfeited.
§ 14 The training Participants declare that they do not have any health contraindications that would prevent them from doing physical exercises and that they participate in the training at their own risk. Before participating in the training, the Participant suffering from health issues should consult a sports doctor and deliver a medical certificate allowing them to participate in the training.
§ 15 In the case of malaise, injuries, traumas, any other serious health problems, and pregnancy, the Participant should inform the Instructor about it before the training.
§ 16 Kokoro Kyūdō Club is not liable for accidents and damage resulting from ignoring the training program and the Instructors’ comments and recommendations.
§ 17 The Club reserves the right to change the training schedule and the Club Terms and Regulations. The Customers should be informed about any changes.
§ 18 Each Participant is required to familiarize themselves with these Terms and Regulations and follow them and every other regulation valid on the Club premises.
§ 19 The Instructors oversee the following of these Terms and Regulations. All requests and complaints should be reported directly to the Foundation Board.
